Studio Sapling is a software platform that provides information and automation tools for small business operations. Studio Sapling is not a licensed accounting firm, CPA, attorney, HR consultancy, marketing agency, or financial advisor. For complex financial, legal, tax, or employment situations, consult a qualified professional.
Studio Sapling provides software tools that help small business owners manage their back-office operations — including bookkeeping, invoicing, tax estimates, customer management, scheduling, marketing, employee management, and compliance — by connecting to business bank accounts and automating operational tasks through a text-based interface and web portal.
To use Studio Sapling you must:
By connecting your bank accounts you authorize Studio Sapling to access your transaction data, account balances, and related information through Plaid Technologies, Inc. for the purpose of providing bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial management tools. You can revoke this authorization at any time through your account settings.
We use Plaid to establish secure connections to your financial institutions. Studio Sapling does not store your bank login credentials. Your financial data is used solely to provide the bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial insight features of the Studio Sapling service.
Studio Sapling stores information about your customers (names, contact details, transaction history, appointments) and, if applicable, your employees (names, contact details, schedules, time records) to provide CRM, scheduling, invoicing, and employee management features. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share this information with us and that your use of the platform complies with applicable privacy and employment laws. We process this data solely to provide services to you and do not use it for our own marketing purposes.
Studio Sapling provides contract templates and document storage as convenience features. Contract templates are general-purpose starting points and are not tailored to your specific legal requirements. You are responsible for reviewing any contract before sending it. Studio Sapling is not a party to contracts between you and your clients. We recommend consulting an attorney for contracts involving significant obligations.
By providing your phone number you consent to receive text messages from Studio Sapling LLC sent via automated technology. These messages may include account updates, bookkeeping notifications, tax reminders, compliance alerts, scheduling reminders, customer management updates, employee notifications, product announcements, and service alerts. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help or contact us at hello@studiosapling.com.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Studio Sapling may send text messages to your customers on your behalf, including appointment reminders, invoice payment links, review requests, and follow-up messages. You are responsible for ensuring your customers have consented to receive these communications where required by applicable law.
Studio Sapling provides software tools, information, and automation. Nothing produced by Studio Sapling constitutes professional financial, legal, tax, or human resources advice. Tax estimates are for informational purposes only. Compliance reminders are based on general requirements and may not reflect your specific obligations. Contract templates are provided as starting points and are not a substitute for legal review. Employee classification guidance is informational and does not replace consultation with an employment attorney. Always consult a licensed professional for decisions with material financial, legal, or employment consequences.

Pricing and billing terms will be provided when you begin a paid subscription. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
Studio Sapling uses Stripe, Inc. to process payments on your behalf. When you send invoices or payment links through Studio Sapling, payments are processed by Stripe subject to their terms of service and privacy policy. You are the merchant of record for transactions with your clients. Refund policies for payments you collect from your clients are your responsibility to establish and communicate. Studio Sapling is not responsible for disputes between you and your clients but will provide transaction records to assist in dispute resolution.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Studio Sapling may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that harms other users or third parties. We will attempt to provide notice before termination where feasible.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@studiosapling.com. Upon cancellation, your access to the service will end at the close of the current billing period.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Studio Sapling LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Studio Sapling shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Studio Sapling LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of the service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of Studio Sapling after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Utah.
